A boy from the hills of Baglung, carrying the songs of home — wherever life takes him.
I am a creator of Nepali lok dohori and folk music. I was born in Baglung, in the hills of Nepal, and the melodies of my childhood — sung in the fields, at festivals, and on long walks between villages — never left me.
Life took me far from home. Like so many of my countrymen, I became a pardeshi — living and working abroad, first in India and now in Osaka, Japan. But distance did not silence the music. It gave my songs their voice: the ache of separation, the strength to keep going, and the love that waits across the miles.
Since 2013, I have released eight songs — writing the words, composing the music, and singing in my own voice. My creations are sung by some of Nepal's loved voices, and my own latest song, «दुनियाँलाई ढाट्छु बरु», is the one closest to my heart.
Today, from Osaka, I also report the news that matters to our community — the same honesty I put into my songs, I put into my reporting.
My musical journey begins with my first creation, followed the same year by «कसरी रोकौं बग्ने आँसुलाई».
My album «भाँचिएको मन» is released — songs of a broken heart and a distant home.
My most special song — my own voice, with Devi Gharti. My latest release, on all streaming platforms.
Living in Osaka with my family, I launch this website and begin reporting news for my community — while the music continues.
सङ्गीत मेरो मन जोड्ने पुल हो — हरेक शब्दमा कथा छ, हरेक धुनमा परदेशी मनको आवाज छ ।
